HASLEMERE ADOPTION CENTRE

Centre Closed for Eight Weeks

Due to essential maintenance work on our cat pens, the Centre will be closed to the public from Friday 26th April for approximately eight weeks.

During this time there will be no cats for adoption from this Centre, however we will be able to provide information of local branches and other Centres who may be able to help you in your search for a cat.

If you need to give up your cat then we may still be able to help you, however, please note the process may take a little longer during this time. We will also still be open for general enquiries such as lost and found, stray cats, help and advice and donations etc.

If you need to contact us, then please call us on 01428 604297 and we will do our very best to help.

In advance we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Parting with your cat
Giving up your cat is never an easy decision and sometimes cat owners can find themselves in a position where they have to give up their much loved pet through no fault of their own. If you need advice about having to give up your cat then rest assured we are here to help. We can support you through this difficult decision and find a solution that is best for your cat. Take a look at our guide on Rehoming your Cat for more information.

Do think about fostering a cat
If you love cats, but are unsure about the long-term commitment, fostering could be the answer. At our Centre, we always have cats and kittens needing a little extra help and loving care in a home environment until they find their forever families. As a volunteer fosterer you would care for one of these cats in your own home (no garden needed) for a few weeks until they are ready to be adopted.  You really will be making a huge difference in helping to give these cats a second chance at a happy life. Head over to our Volunteer page for more information

Donating cat food, litter, cat toys and charity items

Thank you!  These are all much needed and very welcome.  If you are able, please drop off donations in our donations box outside of Reception. For more information on other ways you can provide invaluable help to us, head over to our Support Us page.
